Nothumberland Holiday // Part Two

by - 08:00

So it's time for part two of my Northumberland holiday, with lots more photos of views and what we got up to :)

Day Four

On the Wednesday we all went to Edinburgh for a little day trip. We got up early and took the train and then wandered round the city. We visited Edinburgh castle (from the outside) looked at loads of shops, enjoyed all the architecture and got snap happy!
We also visited an amazing cake shop called Patisserie Valery, and ohhh myyy it was tasty!
We all got some yummy cake and some milkshakes and enjoyed the quaint little shop. I had a fruit tart with cream inside and it was so tasty!

Day Five

This day was a bit more laid back, we visited a little village and walked round a few shops, but I didn't take my camera. Later on that day, me and Dayle went for a wander around near the cottage and found this lovely river and chilled there for a while. Dayle skimmed some stones, and I took some photos and we admired the view together.

Day Six

On the last day we decided to be completely lazy and take advantage of all the facilities that came with the cottage.
We played in the games room and got super competitive, went swimming for hours and enjoyed the hot tub, and played many a game of cards!

Over all this was such a good holiday!
It's hard to not feel relaxed when surrounded by all the views, whilst staying in a lovely cottage and being able to enjoy a swimming pool and hot tub pretty much to ourselves all day.  The weather wasn't supper sunny, but it was the perfect amount of warm that stopped you from getting burnt throughout the day (pale girl problems)
I can't wait until we can all maybe go again next year and have another week of messing around, laughing and chilling with each other :)

I hope you've enjoyed seeing what I got up to!
I took loads of videos throughout the week too, and plan on putting it all together into a vlog, so keep an eye out for that!
